The London File is an online publication by and for people from all around the world who know, live, love and hate London, England.
Divided into eight sections, plus a campaign, The London File aims to capture and report the realities and issues on the ground in London, as they happen.

Her work has been published in the Independent, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, the Fife Herald, and the East Fife Mail, among other publications. She will be going to Venezuela in July to report on the role of women in Chavez's bolivarian revolution.

She obtained her BA degree in Broadcast Journalism with a Minor in Business Administration. After graduating, she worked at E! Entertainment for two years in various production shows such as Love Ride, 12 Sexiest Hollywood Jobs and E! News Now. She is from Orange County, California but moved to London to obtain the international journalistic experience. She recently completed work experience with BBC Horizon. She enjoys writing about Business, Politics, Travel and the Environment. She hopes to work for The Economist and National Geographic.

is a freelance journalist currently based in London. She recently won the John Ivinson Memorial Prize for Freedom of Expression for an article about press freedom in Gaza during the January war. Annabel is currently writing an article for Wired (UK) about Wikileaks, and is going to South America in August to research and write an article about the Guarani Aquifer and the inidigenous populations that live in the region. Annabel is completing an MA in International Journalism at City University (June 2009) and has a BA in English and Theatre Studies from University of Leeds.

Jose M. Calatayud (aka Chemi) is kind of a Spanish journalist currently based in London, although he'll be moving soon to Nairobi. He's worked at the daily newspaper El Mundo in Spain and at the BBC World Service in London. He's also worked at non-journalistic jobs, like running into the sea to save people from evil jellyfishes - but that's another story. He holds bachelors degrees in Philosophy and Journalism from the University of Valencia in Spain and the University Paris 8 in France, and right now he is finishing this MA in International Journalism at City University London. Impressive as all that may sound, the best thing about him is that he is a really nice guy, as proved by the fact that all his (girl)friends' mums just love him.

The rest of the time Marcus runs new media consultancy VSC Creative and pathologically attempts pointlessly difficult and time-consuming tasks for no reason. Marcus helped the print students on the the MA in International Journalism to produce The London File, and has consequently begun, aged 25 and three quarters, to consider permanent retirement to a small, quiet nursing home in Surrey.

Other than that, she has interned with the Times of India group for their compact Mumbai Mirror for two years and the Deccan Chronicle for one month and hopes to break into the big bad world of British journalism

Is a Saudi Arabian freelance journalist who has been with the Arab News newspaper since March 2005 until present covering mainly local sports, social issues and events from her home town Jeddah and now London. She covered the 15th Asian Games in Qatar, 11th Arab Games in Egypt and participated twice at the 4th and 5th Arab Sports Media women meetings in Syria in 2008 and in Qatar in 2009. Her bachelor degree was in English literature and linguistics and she followed it with a diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism in 2006. One of her goals was to enter the stadium and cover a match in her city, and she did that and covered the waterpolo and volleyball finals both in one day in 2008.

After this experience is likely to find his way in Paris as a bartender.
